Our Grand Prairie branch is growing and we are in need of a professional, experienced Parts Technician.

The basic function of the Parts Technician is to provide stellar assistance with parts ordering, resolving availability and other issues. The Parts Technician is responsible for providing efficient and effective inventory and stock management, supporting daily operations and providing support to billing coordinators regarding parts orders and sales.   


Principle Duties:  

  • Build/maintain sales and service clientele using technical knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation parts.
  • Provide stellar customer assistance with parts ordering and sales; resolve availability and other issues.
  • Prepare quotes for customers and internal sales, including research and ultimate procurement.
  • Communicate parts information to internal/external customers in a timely, effective, personalized manner.
  • Coordinate daily shipments and returns to be received, inspected and system processed.
  • Provide for effective and efficient inventory and stock management, along with coordination with other branch locations and inventory cycle counts as necessary.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and team-based approach to colleagues.
  • Allow for flexibility of on-call work requirements, including evenings and weekends as be necessary.



  • Technical knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation material requirements specific to the oil & gas industry.
  • Valid Alberta driver's license.
  • Journeyman Partsman Certification would be an asset.
  • Experience in parts inventory management and warehousing would be an asset.
  • Experience preparing, organizing and contributing to competitive tenders would be an asset.
  • Forklift Safety Certification is an asset.
  • Microsoft Office and/or Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience an asset.
